Did you know that the honey-colored moon is a rare phenomenon?
This tone of the moon is a consequence of the coincidence of the phase of the full moon with the period (called perigee) when it is closest to Earth.
The phenomenon becomes even more rare when it coincides with a Friday the 13th. The previous phenomenon occurred on June 13, 1919 and only happens again on June 13, 2098.
The image we presented was made on the night of 12 to 13 June, in the city of Porto and more precisely at 23:20 on 12 June.
The phenomenon started recently and lasted through the night of 13 June.
